April 1 Saturday
April Fools' Day. I april fooled Emerson, Burns, etc, and Aubrey. Burns home and went to town at night. Played cards.
April 2 Sunday
Ruth and Jeanie up, also Charlie. Jeanie stayed to supper. George B and Edie up and stayed to supper with Tillie and Burns.
April 3 Monday
Snowed all day. Burns didn't go back. George B here. They played cards at night.
April 4 Tuesday
Snowed nearly all morning. I washed and ironed. We made doughnuts. Tressa up. George B up.
April 5 Wednesday
Tressa up. Tillie washed. Edie and George B up at night. Edie collecting for a present for mamma.
April 6 Thursday
A beautiful day. Mrs A went to Black's. We scrubbed before she went. Ruthie creeping all over.
April 7 Friday
Raining quite hard. My 18th birthday. Jersey calf born. Jeanie, Ruth and Charlie up. Charlie and Aubrey up. I got my dress and sweater, plates.
April 8 Saturday
Millen, Mrs A and Tillie went to town. Tressa helped with kids. Burns home at night. Millen got May True Story.
April 9 Sunday
Easter Sunday. Mrs A, Min and I went to church. Ruthie and I at Tressa's for dinner. Min, Ruthie and I at Ruth's for supper.
April 10 Monday
Snowed. Burns went back to the woods.
April 11 Tuesday
Snowed. Cleared up at night. I put our slips of paper and 2 cents in the box.
April 12 Wednesday
Snowed. I washed. Joe H here for butter and milk. Oliver Francis here too. Mrs A at Tressa's for supper. George B here to dinner.
April 13 Thursday
Snowed all night last night. Mrs A went to Aubrey's. Nice all day. Min sawed at Leo's. We got our Easter Cards yesterday.
April 14 - 22 - Blank
April 23 Sunday
Millen, Ruthie and I down home and at Ruth's for supper. Came up early. Tillie, Burns, Pantie and Flo down to Tressa's.
April 24 Monday
Lovely day. Tressa up and I went back with her. Ice started and moved quite a ways.
