I washed and Ruth helped me scrub kitchen. Mrs A and I scrubbed pantry. Millen on railroad.
May 6 Saturday
Millen worked on railroad. No one to town in day time. Millen, Edie, Mrs A and I to town at night. Burns and Tillie went down country.
May 7, Sunday
Ruth, Tressa and John here to dinner. Millen and Ruthie and I went to Ruth's to supper. We saw Jeanie.
May 8 Monday
Burns and Tillie came back. Tressa up in morning and at night. Millen on railroad.
May 9 Tuesday
I washed and we housecleaned in afternoon.

May 11 Thursday
We washed and painted ceiling. We washed woodwork and windows. Ruth up.
May 12 Friday
I washed. We scrubbed kitchen and washed rest of woodwork. Too tired for Y.D.S. Ruthie sick with cold.
May 13 Saturday
Millen, Burns, Mrs A, John and Tressa all went to town. Ruthie sick with cold so I couldn't do much. Min, Guy, Edie and I to pictures.
May 14 Sunday
Jeanie and George B to supper. Mrs A down to Tressa's to supper. I wrote to Helen at night.
May 15 Monday
Guy and Burns went to town. Came back at noon. Millen plowed all morning. Renie over. I sent letter to Helen.
May 16 Tuesday
Kit's twin colts born, one at 4am and one at 7am. One is bay and the other black. Millen split wood. Tressa papered kitchen.

May 24 Wednesday
Flora, Amos, Helen and Gary came. Millen and Guy farmed oats. Tressa, Flo, Amos and Ma went to Tillie's camp. Ruth up.
May 25 Thursday
Helen, Gary, Amos, Ruthie and I went to Ruth's and got her. Helen and I at Martin's. Flo, Amos, Helen and Gary went back in afternoon. Min and Joe at camp.
May 26 Friday
Millen and Joe finished camp. Millen and I took Aubrey out at night. Had a nice drive in moonlight.
May 27 - Blank
May 28 Sunday
Mrs A at Tressa's. Kanes up at night. Millen and I heard Mr Ashley preach for last time. Rained very hard.
May 29 Monday
Rained all day. Millen, Ruthie and I and Joe and Pete came to camp at Hanwell. Millen built cupboard and made deacon seat.
May 30 Tuesday
Men went to work but came home to dinner. I washed and scrubbed with kerosene and water. Some cleaner.
May 31 Wednesday
I cooked, etc. Got terribly lonesome. Men took their dinners and will take them for a long time.
