Jul 1 to 3 Blank

Jul 4 Mon Dull day. Chas lost his nets in river. Baby weighed 8 lbs.

Jul 5 Tues Ruth and Chas both home. Chas caught his nets down river.

Jul 6 Wed Ruth and Edie picked berries at Joe's. I washed. Jeanie down at night. Ruth and Chas up to Anderson's.

Jul 7 Thurs Bruce's birthday. I went up home for berries. Mrs A and Guy down. Social evening. Home at night.

Jul 8 Fri Millen went up home at night for the car.

Jul 9 Sat Millen went to town and got me a hat which is too small. To town at night again and got me stockings, etc.

Jul 10 Sun We had Ruthie christened. Mac and Edna Thomas' baby christened also. To Anderson's to dinner and supper. Flo, Amos, Thurmie and Helen came. T, H, M, G and I went to Fredericton and Devon.

Jul 11 Mon Amos, Flo, etc, down. Went home at 3pm. Guy down at night, also Em and Pete. Gertie down to supper with the baby.

Jul 12 Tues Rained last night. Millen went up and got the car. Gertie down at night. Jeanie here also.

Jul 13 Wed Baby kept us up all night last night. Ruth, Gertie and Millen went to town. Jeanie down. Baby weighs 8 3/4 lbs.

Jul 14 Thurs Pearl M and Georgie Kitchen here. Jeanie down. I was up home for strawberries. Millen up to his home. Baby good last night.

Jul 15 Fri Charlie up for a few minutes. He got Ruth a brown dress for her birthday. This is her 34th birthday.

Jul 16 Sat Millen went to town at night with Guy, Tillie, Burns and George B. I kept store. Ruth kept the baby.

Jul 17 Sun Ruth went up to Mrs Anderson's. Millen and Guy came back. Guy went back up.

Jul 18 to Jul 19 Blank

Jul 20 Wed Baby weighs 9 lbs 6 oz.

Jul 21 to Jul 26 Blank

Jul 27 Wed Baby weighs 10 1/4 lbs.

Jul 28 to Jul 29 Blank

Jul 30 Sat Mr and Mrs A and John B went to town and got our order.

Jul 31 Sun Burns, George B and Pantie came down and Millen, Baby and I went back with them. Millen went to MacAdam about 5:30. (The only Pantie/Panty I've ever heard mentioned was Millen's brother Burns' son, George, who was nicknamed Panty. He was born in Aug 1936 so would have been about 2 years old at the time of this journal entry so I guess it could be him she was talking about.)
